I must include The Fireballs among my bands only because I am trying to provide a complete history of my musical endeavors. The Fireballs were my first band, formed in 1975, when I was eleven years old. I believe the full lineup only practiced twice, then everyone but Jon and I thought it would be more fun to ride bikes, play baseball, and do whatever else normal kids do at that age. Being the completist statistician packrat that I am, though, I still have a typed list of songs, imaginary concerts, band lineup, and phone numbers for The Fireballs. And I think there is a tape of one of our rehearsals, although it just might only be me and Jon.

Jon went on to be a very successful hydroplane racer, and was one of my best men at my wedding. I have no idea what happened to the rest of the band.
