I have known Jerry Hammack for over 15 years. He went to college with my wife, and she introduced us. I've always been impressed by his upbeat, positive attitude (even during some difficult times)
as well as his generous spirit. He is truly someone Tina and I can always depend on, and is one of our closest friends. Jerry has produced and engineered sessions for my bands Spike, The Fuzz, and Green Handshake. He's got it going on in the soundcrafting department as well! Jerry and I talked for years about teaming up and starting some new musical adventure, and this was it....Dry Bones. We hardly ever rehearsed, and we played out even less, but we recorded a couple sessions, which we mainly shared with friends. Jerry fell in love with a wonderful woman several years ago, who happened to live in Toronto. He was determined to emigrate to Canada to be with her, and after a seven-year effort, he succeeded. We miss him very much, but he is happy, and that's the important thing. He visits a couple of times a year, and when we do get together and play, we always have a good time - and ain't that how it's supposed to be? |
